How to create a shortcut to the CSMBC website
1) Google CHROME:
With the website open, click on the 3 dot image on the top right corner of the Welcome Page. Scroll down and click on “More Tools”. Click on “create shortcut”.
This will place the logo on your desk top and you can either drag and drop onto the taskbar, or place it on the APPS page if you are running Windows 10.
2) Microsoft EDGE:
With the website open, click on the 3 dot image on the top right corner of the Welcome Page. Click on “Pin this page to taskbar”.
From there you can place the logo on the desk top or the APPS page.
3) Windows Explorer:
With the website open, click on the Tools icon on the top right corner of the Welcome Page. Click on “Add site to APPS”.
From there you can place the logo on the desk top or the task bar.
4) iPad / iPhone:
With the website open, click on the “Share” icon, then “add to home screen”. The logo will then appear on the home screen or you can add it to favourites.
You’ll need to be running either macOS Sierra or High Sierra and have downloaded and installed the Safari 12 update.
Once you’ve ensured everything’s up to date, you can enable icons by opening Safari, then navigating to Safari > Preferences.
Go to the Tabs section, and then check the box next to “Show website icons in tabs.”
That’s it! Close the settings menu, and you should now see the favicons displayed on individual tabs. If you aren’t seeing them, close and restart Safari. If they still aren’t showing up after restarting the browser, double check to make sure your changes in the settings menu were saved, and then try restarting once again.
